Whether it's reading books after a bath or playing in the rain, it's always more fun to do it with your clothes off!

Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium

While Mimi and Mambo were visiting in February, we all went to a local aquarium. The boys both loved the fish and all the other animals we saw. I think their favorite part was banging on the tanks! Poor fish.

Seth's 1st Birthday

Seth turned 1 on February 20. His first year really flew by! He had a Sesame Street cake. My mom and dad (now known as Mimi and Mambo) were able to come for his birthday, so that was great to have them there. Seth loved his cake and ice cream as much as Ethan. He ate a pretty big piece all by himself. My mom and dad say he takes after me with his love of sweet treats.

Ethan's 2nd Birthday

Ethan loves trains, so he had a Thomas the Train Engine cake for his 2nd birthday, which was on February 3. He loves balloons, so he had lots of those. Our neighbors came over and we had dinner, opened gifts, then had cake and ice cream. As you can see, Ethan loved his cake and ice cream!

Granny

Tim's mom, Connie(a.k.a. Granny), stayed with me and the boys from March 26-June 8. She was a huge help to me! I am so blessed to have such an awesome mother-in-law.

Guatemala

On April 18, I finally went to Guatemala to bring Ethan home. Connie, Terrie, and Seth went with me. It was a great trip and it is even greater to finally have Ethan home with me and Seth. He is a cutie! We call him the brown tornado!

These pictures were all taken the last week of March before Tim left for Iraq. My favorite is the one of Tim & Seth sleeping in bed together. They did that almost every morning.

Seth at the Beach

This was Seth's second trip to the beach, but the first with dad. He really seemed to like his carrier. It was the first time we used it.

Mimi & Aunt Emily's Visit

My mom (Mimi), and sister (Aunt Emily) came to visit in March when Seth was just 2 weeks old. We all took him to the beach and he slept the entire time!

Dad's Lullaby to Seth

I'm sorry that I didn't tell anyone about the blog sooner, I guess I was still working on it.

I came up with a new version of a lullaby one of the first nights that I was sitting up with Seth trying to put him asleep. Stephanie said that I had to put it on here.
