Peggy and I took the kids into Philadelphia one day. Here they all are in front of the Children's Museum. We had big plans for the day (children's museum, liberty bell, "Rocky" steps, and visiting the home my great grandparents and my Nana and PaBill lived in), but those plans were slightly changed when my poor baby Seth threw up in the car right as we arrived in the city. So, we made a quick stop at Target for new clothes and lots of disinfectants and cleaning products! Seth seemed fine after that, so we decided to still give the children's museum a try. It was a really neat place.
After the museum, we did attempt to see the Liberty Bell and the Rocky steps. We saw them both from the car! There was nowhere to park by the steps and the Liberty Bell was closed by the time we got there. We had a great day anyway and Seth was so good considering he wasn't feeling great. It was actually just the beginning of a long week of him being really sick. He's feeling much better now!
This little rocket ride was Seth's favorite at the museum. He rode it six times in a row. It started out on the ground, then rose up in the air and spun around. Pretty brave for a little guy who had just thrown up a few hours before. I almost got sick just watching it!
This area was Ethan's favorite. He loved loading and unloading the bricks. He's quite the little worker.
They had the cutest little grocery store there. I think we spent the most time in the store. The kids loved pushing their own carts and pretending to be cashiers.
Ethan and Sis with their purchases. Sis sure could fit a lot of stuff in her cart.

Seth, the mechanic.
Parts of the museum were set up like little streets and towns. Here they are in front of the McDonalds.

Sorry to hear that Seth was so sick. Cleaning up puke in the car is a nightmare (I now have a car sickness kit in the car!). Looks like you all had tons of fun. That museum looks so cool.
